Secretlab Omega Review: 5 Best Secretlab Gaming Chair, Titan

Secretlab is a gaming chair manufacturer based in Singapore that was established in 2014. It is headquartered in Singapore and operates in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and Asia.

Ian Ang and Alaric Choo co-founded Secretlab (Heliconia Capital Management Pte. Ltd.) to create the best gaming chair in the world, and have since sold over one million chairs.

Secretlab chairs have become popular options for workers to use in home offices because they are known worldwide as among the most comfortable for gamers. People are becoming more aware of the importance of proper sitting posture and support as they spend more time in their chairs.

Secretlab offers 3 different models: Omega, Titan, and Titan XL:

5 Best Secretlab Gaming Chair:

The Titan is SecretLab’s only gaming chair made exclusively for large gamers. They do, however, offer a few models that are well-categorized in terms of features, design, and pricing points. The following are the four primary series:

  • The Titan Series is a series of books about a group
  • The Omega Series is a collection of books published by Omega (2018)
  • The Elite Series (2018) and The Throne Series (2018)

So, if you’re searching for an economical gaming chair with the awesome Secretlab branding, the Secretlab Throne gaming chair is a great option (but only if you are shorter than 165 cm and lighter than 100 kg).

  • Improved Padding And Multi-Functional Tilt In The SecretLab Omega Series
  • The First-Designed – And Most Affordable Gaming Chair is the SecretLab Throne Series (No longer available)
  • The Titan Elite Series from SecretLab screams “premium” all the way.

1. Secretlab Titan (2020 Series):

PU Leather is a polyurethane-coated imitation leather that is used to make the Titan. It has a lot of space for improvement in terms of breathability.

The Secretlab Titan is available in both synthetic leather (Prime 2.0 PU Leather) and cloth (SoftWeave), with the latter costing $429.

PU Leather, or polyurethane-coated imitation leather, is used to make the Titan. It’s not very breathable.

The Titan is available in synthetic leather (Prime 2.0 PU Leather) or silk (SoftWeave) for $429.

The Titan only comes with the headrest pillow, which is made of dense memory foam with a cooling gel layer instead of traditional synthetic pillow stuffing and feels incredibly soft and supportive against the head.

Armrests and Adjustments: The armrests are the most important design feature, and they can still be modified by shifting them up and down, sliding them forward, backward, left or right, and rotating them left or right. The four-directional adjustment mechanisms have been fully overhauled, and the metal supports are thicker and more robust.

Each armrest’s height adjustment lever is now wider and made of metal rather than plastic, and it moves more smoothly.

Titan Build Quality: The foundation is made of high-strength aluminum with ribs and gussets for added support. A class 4 heavy-duty KGS cylinder powers the gas lift. The end result is a gaming chair that is incredibly stable and quiet, with no visible weak points.

Chair Features: Titan armrests are dense 4D armrests with a firm rubber exterior that can travel in all directions. Although the maximum recline of 165 degrees is fairly normal, the chair also includes a seat tilt angle lock, which is seen in several other high-end gaming chairs. There’s even the external neck cushion, which deserves its own paragraph.

Our Verdict:

The Secretlab Titan is a seriously good piece of furniture, and it gets my recommendation if you’re looking for a solid gaming chair with a ridiculous 5-year warranty. It’s a perfect choice because of the adjustability choices, ruggedness, and ease of assembly.

My only criticism is that the padding is stiffer than I like, but it never made me feel awkward. It’s perfect for gaming and working, but I’d suggest napping in something a little softer.

The Titan is a truly luxury chair with the build quality, elegance, and comfort to cater to everyone searching for a high-end ergonomic office chair with a reliable reclining mechanism, not only gamers.
In reality, a slightly firmer seat will help you maintain good posture more easily than a mushy one from an ergonomic perspective.

PROS:

  • Comfortable and Five-year warranty.
  • Exceptional build quality with a lifetime of 5–10 years
  • Velvety feeling, strong PU leather upholstery
  • Wide 4D armrests
  • Decent built-in lumbar support and exceptional neck pillow
  • The backrest reclines 165 degrees with a seat angle lock

CONS:

  • No lumbar pillow
  • The backrest doesn’t rock once at a fully reclined angle
  • For certain people, the maximum lumbar support depth might not be enough.
  • For some people, the seat cushion may still be too firm.

Should I Buy Titan or Titan XL required?

The only difference between the Titan and the Titan XL is the size of the chair: the Titan XL is 25% heavier. The Xl model has a seat that is almost two inches wider. Furthermore, the Titan XL’s extra-large reinforced parts will accommodate an additional 100 pounds of weight.

Do I need Titan or Omega – Secretlab Omega Review?

The Titan is your best bet if you’re a big guy. You’ll probably want the Omega if you’re a smaller person. Third, decide whether you want a large or small chair. If your body type falls into the category where both chairs are viable options, one factor to consider is how much space you need in your chair.

SecretLab Omega:

2. Secretlab Omega Review:

The Secretlab Omega is the most flexible gaming chair on the market, capable of getting you through a full day of work before kicking back and playing games, whether at your desk or in front of the TV. And with so many different models to choose from, it’ll look great for any occasion.

The Secretlab Omega is a high-end, no-frills chair; the pseudo looks and sounds great, and the padding is extremely firm. The Omega’s understated design appeals to me. Most gaming chairs look out of place in an office environment, but this one doesn’t. The Omega’s build efficiency is excellent.

The Omega series’ prices vary from $359 for the PRIME 2.0 PU Leather chair to $749 for the Black NAPA Leather chair. The Omega has similar ergonomics, a broader range of adjustment angles, and is significantly less expensive. The Omega, unlike the Titan chair, has an extra-large memory foam lumbar pad.

Difference between Secretlab Titan and Omega?

The Titan is a slightly larger chair designed for medium-to-large users, while the Omega is a slightly smaller chair designed for medium-to-smaller users. Both chairs have a 22-inch seat width, but the Titan’s seat is 21 inches deep, while the Omega’s seat is 20 inches deep.

There are two dimensions between the Omega and the Titan, apart from their smaller proportions. To begin, the Omega has a memory foam lumbar pillow, while the Titan has one built-in. Second, the Omega seat has edges that keep your legs in a narrow sitting room. More information is available in our explainer video and article:

Who is the Omega chair for?

  • Since dense cold-foam padding keeps players relaxed for longer periods of time, it’s ideal for professional esports players. Its ergonomic features also allow players to move about while seated.
  • General computer users who sit in these seats for long periods of time should expect to excel. Expect better posture, a happier mood, more energy, and increased work efficiency.
  • Omega is the perfect option for power users who remain in front of a screen for long periods of time.

Secretlab Omega 2020 models:

Secretlab Omega 2020 models:

All models usually choose Prime 2.0 PU leather, nylon mesh fabric, or genuine NAPA leather.

1. Prime 2.0 PU leather:

This is the most common upholstery alternative because it is comfortable to the touch and does not have a chemical odor. Ash Grey, Royal Blue, Stealth, Classic White, and Black are the paint choices.

2. Softweave fabric:

Softweave cloth, on the other hand, is more breathable and flexible than PU leather. It has a soft feel to it and provides comfortable, cozy, and constant comfort in any weather.

As compared to other fabric gaming chairs, Omega and Titan chairs have more features and come with a longer warranty.

3. Genuine leather:

Omega models of plush genuine Nepa leather cost around $400 more than PU leather models. The Omega Leather Edition comes in genuine leather, smooth from all-black batteries.

4: Special editions:

Secretlab produces a range of branded video game chairs for well-known titles. League of Legends, World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Dota 2, Rust, and other games are among them.

Omega: Features:

  • The Arm Rests on the Omega can be adjusted in four different directions.
  • Comfortable Lumbar Support Pillow. However, it does not attach to the chair.
  • It comes with a nice Velour Neck Pillow (the Same One That Comes on the Titan)
  • The Secretlab Omega is available in three upholstery options: PU Leather, Fabric, and genuine NAPA Leather.
  • Secretlab recommends the Omega for consumers who are no taller than 5’9′′ and weigh no more than 240 lbs. The maximum weight that this chair can support is only 175 pounds.

Build Quality:

The Secretlab Omega’s base is made of reinforced aluminum, it has a steel frame, and its hydraulic gas piston is rated for Class 4 heavy-duty, so the build quality is excellent.

The Secretlab Omega is a worthy choice to consider if you’re a smaller consumer looking for a gaming chair. Its 4D adjustable armrests, wide range of color schemes, and high build quality set it apart from the competition.

Design:

The leather on the Omega 2020 is smooth but not slippery, with a delicate texture. The padding is heavy, difficult to squish, and returns to its original form shortly after you get up. I’ve had the chair for a few weeks now and have yet to find a scratch on it.

Ribs and gussets stabilize the wheelbase, preventing it from warping or breaking. It’s even shinier than others, with XL PU caster wheels for long-lasting durability that won’t scratch your ground.

Dreamy Foam Pillows:

The Omega 2020’s two pillows — one for lumbar support and the other for your head — show that a better memory foam pillow will exist. These aren’t all fluffy pillows. They’re firmer than other pillows that come with gaming tables, but they’re still more malleable.

The adjustable strap and non-slip strap on the back of the head pillow allow you to slide it down to neck level if desired.

Our Verdict:

When comparing the Omega to other racing-style gaming chairs that are also designed for medium-to-smaller body types, I believe the Omega is one of the better options.

Choose anything like the Noblechairs Hero if you want a lot of rigidity. Those looking for anything spongier can look elsewhere. The Secretlab Omega 2020, on the other hand, strikes a perfect balance between those two emotions. You’ll find firm support combined with comfort, as well as fine, stain-resistant leather and pillows you’ll love.

  • Choose the Secretlab Omega over the Titan if you’re under 5’10” and 200 lbs., or if you’re similar to those figures and want a chair that suits you more snugly.
  • Choose the Titan over the OmegaIf you’re taller than 5’9′′ and weigh more than 175-180 lbs. and want a roomier chair.

PROS:

A quite comfortable chair built for smaller people (recommended for people under 5’9″ and weighing less than 175 lbs.—but strong enough to accommodate heavier people)

The Secretlab Omega comes with premium armrests that can be modified in four different ways to ensure proper fit.

Secretlab provides payment plans for the chair ($29/month), making it more accessible to consumers who don’t have $329 to spend on a chair up front.

  • Padding is supportive but not stiff
  • Spill-resistant
  • Backrest has a good range
  • Armrests have four different adjustments

CONS:

  • The lumbar support pillow is cool, but since it isn’t attached to the chair, it can slip down when you change your position.
  • Occasionally, the backrest lever and hard armrests get stuck.

SecretLab Titan XL:

3. Secretlab Titan XL:

The Secretlab Titan XL is an exact replica of the Titan chair, and one of the best computing chairs in the world. Secretlab Titan XL, for the most part, is just a larger version of the 2020 Titan, with excellent billing quality, a great shape, and built-in lumbar support.

The Titan XL looks like it was designed for playing games, doing work, or watching videos; its very firm padding goes a long way to keeping you relaxed in a posture-friendly place.

Features:

As compared to other chairs for large and tall people, the Titan XL stands out thanks to a number of specialized professional features. The integrated lumbar support is a standout feature, as is the Titan XL’s smooth, wide seat, which is suitable for people of all sizes. The backrest can be adjusted backward to 165 degrees and forwards to 85 degrees.

A robot-welded, heavy-duty carbon steel frame is the foundation of any Titan XL chair. A dense layer of super-resilient cold foam padding covers the frame.

Functionality: 4-directional armrests; recline from 85° to 165°; multi-angle tilt-lock.
Premium PU leather or Softweave Fabric are available as cover alternatives.

Memory foam neck pillow with cooling gel insert; cold cure foam padding

Design and Build: The Titan XL is built for people who are 5’11” to 6’10” tall, with the high end of the Titan’s range (5’9″ to 6’7″) being three inches higher. The Titan’s backrest is 33 inches long, while the XL’s is 33.5 inches long.

Our Verdict:

The Titan XL takes Secretlab’s unique, high-quality ideas and design to a modern, wider audience.

Nothing compares to the Titan XL’s features and value as a gaming or office chair. Consider the Secretlab Titan XL if you’re looking for the perfect supersized gaming throne. It has the scale, padding, and features those full-time professionals who are big and tall need. For users up to 390 pounds, the Secretlab Titan XL gaming chair provides excellent build quality and comfort.

PROS:

  • Big and bold – a great option for larger gamers
  • Built-in lumbar support
  • Well-made with excellent attention to detail
  • Made to last – 3-year warranty extendable to 5-year
  • Comfortable and stable and adjustable
  • Excellent comfort and build quality, Sturdy materials, and Very roomy.

CONS:

  • No memory foam lumbar pillow
  • More expensive than a regular Titan.
  • Might be too big for smaller users.

Where can I get a Titan XL?

You can get a Titan XL directly from Secretlab. The best deals are found when you buy directly from the manufacturer. This review’s Secretlab ties are all foreign. Titan XL chairs are available from Secretlab in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Singapore, and Oceania.

Titan XL alternatives:

AKRacing and Anda Seat, in addition to the Titan XL, have excellent versions for large and tall heavyweights.

AKRacing Masters Series Max:
a) AKRacing Masters Series Max:

The AKRacing Masters Series Max is a larger version of the Masters Series Pro, with the industry-leading 5+10 warranty from AKRacing.

Functionality: 4D customizable padded armrests; 180° recline; multifunction tilt-lock.

Comfort: 70 percent more cold foam padding; lumbar cushion & neck support pillows; extra deep seat.

In conclusion, all three chairs are extremely well-matched. At first glance, they all seem to have a lot of features and are good value for money. However, with its extra touches of thoughtful luxury, the Titan XL emerges as the winner.
